Hi Maria,
I am following-up on a recent email I sent introducing you to Glazd, the first rental insurance agency designed to sell renter’s insurance at scale with their one-to-many approach to sales and marketing.
There are 108 million renters in the United States, yet only a fraction of them has renter’s insurance. This gap not only puts residents at financial risk. It also exposes property owners to uninsured losses.
Instead of offering policies directly to renters, Glazd works with property owners to ensure every renter has a policy. By integrating with the most popular property management software systems, Glazd sells hundreds, even thousands of policies at a time and helps property owners save money on their property and casualty premiums without adding additional costs.
Glazd was founded just a few years ago, is already licensed in 49 states, and is growing quickly. The company insured just over 10,000 units at the end of 2023. At the end of 2024, Glazd had 35 clients covering almost 24,000 units, which is forecasted to produce over $650,000 ARR in the next 12 months.
The company is raising capital, with which they plan to add two new property management software system integrations, expand their addressable market by 19 million units, add an in-house IT developer, and additional salespeople to expand sales with the goal of going public within 5 years.
Please let me know if you would like to learn more about the investment opportunity. I would be happy to request a detailed pitch deck and/or arrange a meeting with their management team.
Thank you for your consideration.
Kind regards,
Elizabeth
